The Nigerian Bar Association, a body of Lawyers in Nigeria, has insisted that the Osun rerun election held on September 27, fell far short of anything close to free and fair.
The association details instances of how the police allegedly in collusion with thugs selectively prevented voters from accessing polling units.
The legal association in a report by its ad hoc committee on the rerun, said the actions and inaction of the police during the poll showed that it had been compromised.
The lawyers, short of mentioning APC as the party's whose thugs worked with the police to rubbish the election, called for the arrest of all those involved, and their prosecution.
